A day trip from Rushworth

With an early start, a full day on the Goulburn or the Delatite is doable from Rushworth or Murchison. You'll be home that evening.

The full day is the better value from here. A half day means almost as long in the car as on the water.

Making a weekend of it

A night in Mansfield is the easy way to do it. You'll be close to the Delatite, the Howqua and the King, and can fish two rivers over a weekend.

What's included

Every trip is a half or full day with John beside you on the water the whole time. Waders, boots, rods, reels and flies are all supplied, so there's nothing to pack but yourself. Catering is included, and dietary requirements are catered for.

Casting lessons in Benalla

Benalla is about an hour and a quarter away. If you're new to fly fishing, a three hour lesson there is a good place to start. More about casting lessons.

Plan your trip from Rushworth.

Tell John where you're coming from, which days suit and what you'd like to get out of the trip. He'll suggest the river and plan the day around it.
