With over 30 years' fly fishing experience, John has honed his skills alongside some of the industry's most respected anglers. Based in north east Victoria, he regularly fishes throughout the region and has expanded his expertise to renowned destinations in Tasmania and New Zealand.

John offers guided fly fishing experiences across a diverse range of waterways, from small mountain streams to larger rivers. His extensive knowledge covers a variety of techniques, including dry fly fishing, nymphing, Euro nymphing, and stripping and swinging wet flies.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced angler looking to refine your skills, John provides a welcoming and supportive experience for participants of all abilities. Guided trips are tailored to individual needs, with all equipment available if required, although guests are welcome to bring their own gear.

More than just a day on the water, John's goal is to help anglers develop practical skills and confidence. Participants gain valuable knowledge in streamcraft, rod and leader setup, fly selection, and effective casting techniques suited to a range of fishing conditions.

Guided trips are conducted throughout Victoria's stunning High Country, including the Goulburn, Ovens and Kiewa river systems, as well as many other rivers and streams across the region.
